Actor and political activist Alec Baldwin was confronted by a reporter from the New York Post in New York City Monday night, and was asked about the fatal shooting that resulted in the death of a cinematographer on the set of “Rust.” Baldwin responded by angrily charging the reporter while wielding an umbrella.
“Wait, Mr. Baldwin, I have to ask you, what brings you to New York City?” the New York Post’s Jon Levine asks Baldwin in the footage, while the actor’s wife Hilaria loudly repeats, “I asked you to leave. I asked you to go away. Please go away.”
Baldwin then turns and stalks away from the door of the apartment and approaches Levine while thrusting a folded umbrella at him. “You’re not allowed to photograph onto somebody’s private home,” the actor shouts.

“You’re not allowed to photograph onto somebody’s private home,” Baldwin repeats loudly, before his wife convinces him to return to the door and head inside the building.
As National File previously reported, Baldwin has vigorously denied pulling the trigger on the “Rust” set:
“It doesn’t seem real to me,” said Baldwin, after crying on camera. When former George Stephanopoulos, a Clinton administration official-turned-interviewer for ABC News, asked the actor “how this happened,” and noted that the script did not call for Baldwin to pull the trigger, the actor denied firing the weapon.Advertisement - story continues below
“Well, the trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger,” said Baldwin. When asked to clarify, he added, “No, no, I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them.”
