Video footage from the UFC 264 event in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday shows former President Donald Trump being saluted by a man who appears to be actor and film director Mel Gibson. Previous photos and footage of Gibson arriving at the event confirm that the “Braveheart” Academy Award-winning actor is indeed the man saluting Trump.
In a video taken after he arrived at the T-Mobile Arena, Gibson stated, “Hey, I want to see the rematch. You know, best out of three. I don’t care who wins, I just want it to see a good match, and I’m sure it will be.” Later, as President Trump arrived at the venue to chants of “USA! USA!”, Gibson could be seen saluting the former President.

As National File previously reported, President Trump arrived with UFC President Dana White and received a mixed reaction of boos and jeers when entering the arena:
45th President Donald Trump just arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada at the T-Mobile Arena to attend UFC 264 to see the fight of his longtime fan, Conor McGregor, who once called President Trump “incredible” and the “greatest of all time.”
President Trump was greeted by cheers as he entered the event, along with a smattering of boos. Even those who oppose President Trump in the crowd were forced to admit that at least half of those in attendance were excited to see the 45th President attend.
McGregor previously described President Trump as a “phenomenal President” and said “Quite possibly the USA [Greatest Of All Time]. Most certainly one of them anyway, as he sits atop the shoulders of many amazing giants that came before him.”
Though President Trump was omitted from camera shots during the event, multiple fighters noticed and remarked on his presence during their post-fight remarks.
