A poll conducted at the Turning Point Action Conference has revealed that a whopping 98.5% of respondents oppose American involvement in the Russo-Ukrainian War. The poll’s results stand in stark contrast to the views of most 2024 GOP presidential candidates, who have widely supported the shipping of munitions and, eventually American troops, to Ukraine.
The polling on American involvement in the Russo-Ukrainian War was conducted over the weekend at the Turning Point Action Summit and shows that the Republican Party’s base is staunchly opposed to America aiding, both materially and physically, the Soros-backed Ukrainian regime.
“This is the most amazing thing,” Charlie Kirk, Turning Point’s founder, said from the conference stage as he revealed the poll’s results.
“The most lopsided question that we asked [in the Turning Point straw poll] is this final question,” said Kirk.
“Almost every single Republican running for the presidency is an enthusiastic cheerleader to send cluster bombs, munitions, and potentially American troops to eastern Ukraine to fight Russia,” he added.
“We asked the question, ‘Do you support US involvement in the war in Ukraine?'”
“95.8% of you said no.”

As Kirk mentioned, the poll’s results are in massive contrast with the views of the 2024 GOP presidential field which, minus President Trump, has enthusiastically supported American involvement in the war.
While Florida Governor Ron DeSantis claims that he is opposed to America’s involvement in Ukraine, his Congressional record tells a far different story, as DeSantis voted for the “Ukraine Support Act,” codifying America’s “support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity” of Ukraine in 2014.
Shortly thereafter, DeSantis publicly called on the Obama Administration to arm the Ukrainians and even claimed that President Obama, who helped overthrow Ukraine’s government, wasn’t doing enough to help Ukraine and its legion of neo-Nazi warfighters.

In addition to voting against US involvement in Ukraine, the massive crowd that gathered for the Turning Point Action Conference voted for their preferred candidates in the 2024 GOP Presidential Primary.
45th President Trump blew out the entire field, winning a massive 85.3% supermajority of votes.
Ron DeSantis didn’t fair so well, coming in an incredibly distant 3rd place, winning just 4.3% of the vote and finishing behind obscure candidate Perry Johnson.
What’s more, is that when conference attendees were asked who their second choice for the presidential ticket would be, Ron DeSantis once again finished toward the bottom of the list.
In that poll, half of the voters said their second choice for President is Vivek Ramaswamy. 21% of them said that their second choice is President Trump, and just 13.5% of them named Ron DeSantis.
