Left-wing CNN commentator Van Jones, who previously served as Barack Obama’s “special advisor for green jobs,” said that he hopes Joe Biden calls up some anti-Trump Republicans to get their support for Biden’s declining candidacy in the 2024 election.
“If he hasn’t, I would call that political malpractice. We need the biggest broadest tent possible,” Van Jones said in an interview with CNN propagandist Kaitlan Collins, in response to Collins’ question about whether or not Biden should contact anti-Trumpers like Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, and George W. Bush.
“The pro-democracy forces, the anti-authoritarian forces, include Republicans, independent, Green Party, libertarian, Democrats, and further to the left than Democrats, all have an interest in making sure we don’t have an authoritarian in the White House. And so if Biden has not reached out to them, look, it’s still early tonight. I hope he’ll pick up the phone and do it right now,” Van Jones said.
The Uniparty is getting desperate.
