United States Women’s National Team legend Carli Lloyd called out woke Megan Rapione for her horrific leadership following the USWNT’s embarrassing start to the 2023 World Cup. The USWNT barely made it into the knockout round posting an embarrassing record of 1-1-1. Lloyd was one of the few USWNT players who stood for America’s National Anthem in recent years.
USWNT players started celebrating after an embarrassing tie to Portugal. Lloyd responded in real-time to the embarrassing celebration saying, “Just seeing these images for the first time on the desk, I have never witnessed something like that. There is a difference between being respectful to the fans and to say hello to your family but to be dancing to be smiling. I mean the player of the match was that post. You are lucky to not be going home right now.”

Woke is an understatement to describe Rapione. Rapione, who is a lesbian and avowed leftist, used foul language to describe Trump’s presidency and even turned down an invitation to visit the Trump White House following the USWNT World Cup victory in 2019.

Rapione was one of those demanding that USWNT players receive equal payment despite earning way less revenue for the sport than the men do.
Rapione also is a big believer in men playing women’s sports. This is an odd position for her to take, considering men could completely destroy women’s soccer if this lunacy continues.

The USWNT used to be beloved by Americans. But now, thanks to Rapione and her woke antics, USWNT games are really only watched by woke America and those with a vested interest in the sport of soccer.
Rapione’s political and cultural lunacy has drawn comparisons to basketball player Lebron James, who’s often accused of destroying the NBA. The 2023 NCAA Women’s College Basketball Championship received higher ratings than the 2023 NBA finals. Americans have quit watching the NBA because they are fed up with Lebron’s wokeness.
American sports are at a cross roads like American society. Sporting leagues are going to have to make a decision, do they want a national audience or a coastal one?
