The fact that 70 percent of millennials say they would vote for a socialist and one in three view communism favorably, should concern people of every demographic in the nation. But that isn’t what’s happening, and one new member of the US Congress is sounding the alarm about our creeping relationship with Socialism.
US Representative-elect Victoria Spartz (R-IN), is taking a stand against the efforts of the Democrat Party in the United States to move the country toward Socialism. Spartz is one of 17 newly elected conservative women in the next Congress.
Spartz is a Ukrainian-born, naturalized, American citizen and one of the founding members of the new “Freedom Force.” This group was created by Spartz and colleagues Reps. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Maria Elvira Salazar’s (R-FL), and Carlos Gimenez (R-FL), and meant to counter the influence of “The Squad,” piloted by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
“I grew up in a socialistic country,” Spartz said in an interview. “I grew up in socialism…I saw what happens when it runs out of money, and it’s not pretty.”
“I can tell you what is going to be next,” she said. Spartz explained that under both Socialist and Communist systems, the government “forces us to be equal” and will use “suppression” to do it.

The suppression Spartz speaks of is becoming increasingly evident, and the ongoing battle to affect free and fair elections in the United States this General Election cycle is a perfect example.
American lawyer and political strategist, Yuri Vanetik, who shares Ukraine as a birthplace with Spartz, said in an interview with National File, “It is certainly alarming. I speak often with business elite and politicians in the Caucuses, Eastern Europe and Asia. They tell me that our elections are beginning to resemble theirs. This sentiment, regardless of its empirical veracity, presents a growing image problem for Americans.”
Indeed, some world leaders – who ironically including Russia’s President Vladimir Putin – are hesitant about recognizing the victor in the November 3, 2020, presidential race because of questions about the election’s legitimacy.
“This is not about Trump winning or losing or conceding,” Vanetik said. “It is about the integrity of our institutions and regardless of whether the voter fraud was as enormous as some allege, we need to worry about optics and the erosion in values and sanctity of the democratic process.”
Spartz’s echoed Vanetik’s mindset saying, “We have to value our freedoms because we’re the greatest Republic that ever existed,”
Vanetik provided a warning to the American public, “There are plenty of fake ‘democracies’ that claim to have elected officials and claim to have respect for human rights. Most of these dictatorships’ claims are what English philosopher, Jeremy Bentham, referred to as ‘nonsense on stilts.’”
“Ukraine, our ally and my birthplace, is a great example of a failed country and a failed democracy,” Vanetik continued. “Let Ukraine be a warning for us. Curbing voter fraud is not as important for determining who wins this current election, as it is a sign that our institutions may be failing. If we start doubting the integrity of our establishment and the rule of law, we descend into a society where values transcend, becoming not much better than a Hobbesian state of nature.”
“We should remember that the whole world is watching our elections,” he said.
“We have a group of new Republicans who love America. We value freedom, liberty, and opportunity.”

Spartz and her colleagues in the Freedom Force will be seated in the 117th Congress of the United States, a Congress that sees the dangerous writing on the wall that is our dalliance with Socialism.
