Fox News seems determined to keep Tucker under contract, forcing him to sit out the 2024 election. However, Tucker Carlson plans to fight Fox so he can start his next venture before 2024. Rumors are swirling about Tucker’s next move, including a potential partnership with Elon Musk. Fox News ratings continue to plummet following Tucker’s departure.
Tucker Carlson’s team is not pleased with reports that Fox will not allow Carlson out of his contract before the 2024 election. It’s reported that Tucker’s team has gone “from peacetime to Defcon 1, His team is preparing for war. He wants his freedom.”
Axios recently tweeted, “NEW: @Axios has learned@TuckerCarlson and @elonmusk have discussed working together but didn’t talk specifics. Carlson is plotting his own media empire. But he needs Fox to let him out of his contract.”

Many are questioning Fox’s motivations for not releasing Tucker from his contract. National File recently reported that one of Fox’s fill-ins during Tukcer’s hour, Brian Kilmeade, has a history of saying pro-DeSantis and anti-Trump statements on the air. National File also reported Lawrence Jones, Fox’s other fill-in during Tucker’s hour, worked on the Obama campaign.
Last week Trump Jr, who recently shared one of National File’s articles critical of Kilmeade, tweeted, “It’s been almost a week since Fox News fired Tucker Carlson & Ron DeSantis STILL hasn’t found the courage to say a word about it. Wonder why? We already know he flip-flopped on Ukraine because of his donors, so I guess it’s unsurprising that he’s afraid to cross Paul Ryan & Fox.”

Tucker’s departure from Fox has resulted in a boycott against the network, causing Fox’s ratings to drop significantly. NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre joined the Fox News boycott Monday, tweeting, “I’m with Tucker. Time to boycott Fox until they come to their senses and let the man speak.”
