Jenna Ellis, a member of President Donald Trump’s legal defense team that pursued credible allegations of widespread voter fraud after the 2020 election, has launched a new attack against RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. Previously, McDaniel disputed a true series of events in which her top lawyer, RNC Chief Counsel Justin Riemer, sent an email calling the efforts of Ellis, Rudy Giuliani, and President Trump a “joke”. McDaniel promised to fire Riemer, but he remains in his position today.
Ellis published her latest statement this morning, originally writing it as a response to “RNC lackey” Josh Dawsey, who describes himself as an “investigations & enterprise reporter” for the Washington Post. Ellis explained that she “Never heard back” from the reporter who “rushed to print Riemer’s leaked email from RNC and shade it before I could respond, and notably AFTER I had promised to release it on” her television show. She then shared the comment she sent Dawsey.
“Justin Riemer is entitled to his opinion, but what he was not entitled to is privately undermining the election integrity efforts while assisting the RNC’s fundraising by publicly claiming they supported our efforts for President Trump.” Ellis added, “Turns out it was the RNC misleading millions of people. Why did they lie? I’d love to know what happened to the over $200 million raised on false statements of support for the election integrity efforts.”
Never heard back from WaPo RNC lackey @jdawsey1, who rushed to print Riemer’s leaked email from RNC and shade it before I could respond, and notably AFTER I had promised to release it on #JustTheTruth.

National File contacted the RNC earlier this week, and again yesterday, to ask about how this $200 million was used. Specifically, National File asked if the RNC is using the $200 million to advocate against or to prevent big tech-funded groups like the Center for Tech and Civic Life from installing ballot drop boxes in Democrat strongholds, to pursue election integrity-driven forensic audits, or reversing 2020 laws that allowed virtually unlimited mail in ballot voting and counting ballots days after the election. The RNC has not responded to National File.
Ellis concluded, “Why didn’t Ronna McDaniel fire Riemer in November 2020 as she promised, and why is she still lying about this now? The truth matters.” (READ MORE: RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel Blocks Jenna Ellis After She Says RNC Bailed On Trump In 2020 Election Fight)
National File exhaustively researched Riemer’s history and learned that he was hired as Chief Counsel of the RNC under McDaniel’s tenure, started his career in politics working for anti-Trump U.S. Senator and war hero John McCain, and has worked for at least two mysterious lobbying firms. Riemer previously worked at the RNC under former Chairman Reince Priebus, and was rehired to a higher position under McDaniel.
