President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social Saturday morning that he will be arrested in New York on Tuesday. In the same post, Trump attacked the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, pointing out the office’s close ties with George Soros. Never before in American history has a sitting or former president been arrested.
On Saturday morning, President Trump posted on Truth Social, “NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”
In a prior post on Truth Social Saturday morning, Trump also said, “OUR NATION IS NOW THIRD WORLD & DYING. THE AMERICAN DREAM IS DEAD! THE RADICAL LEFT ANARCHISTS HAVE STOLLEN OUR PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, AND WITH IT, THE HEART OF OUR COUNTRY. AMERICAN PATRIOTS ARE BEING ARRESTED & HELD IN CAPTIVITY LIKE ANIMALS, WHILE CRIMINALS & LEFTIST THUGS ARE ALLOWED TO ROAM THE STREETS, KILLING & BURNING WITH NO RETRIBUTION. MILLIONS ARE FLOODING THROUGH OUR OPEN BOARDERS, MANY FROM PRISONS & MENTAL INSTITUTIONS. CRIME & INFLATION ARE DESTROYING OUR VERY WAY OF LIFE…”
Manhattan District Attorney Alivn Bragg, who will be filing charges against Trump, has close ties with George Soros. In January 2022, former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton blamed Alivin Bragg’s election victory on George Soros. George Soros has “effectively destroyed the criminal justice system in America,” said the former NYPD Commissioner.
According to Capital Research Center, in 2021 alone, George Soros gave $1.1 million to groups supporting Alvin Bragg.
Ohio Senator JD Vance tweeted on Saturday, “I’ve been asked by multiple reporters if an indictment would lead me to rescind my endorsement of Donald Trump. The answer is: hell no. A politically motivated prosecution makes the argument for Trump stronger. We simply don’t have a real country if justice depends on politics.”

Trump is expected to travel to New York and turn himself in on Tuesday. No sitting or former President in American history has ever been arrested.
