Donald Trump had a strong response to Joe Biden’s DOJ arrest of him. Trump gave a high-energy speech at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Trump notably pledged to destroy the deep state.

Trump received the loudest applause when he told the audience, ” I will totally obliterate the Deep State, we will obliterate the Deep State and we know who they are. They want to take away my freedom because I will never let them take away your freedom. They want to silence me because I will never let them silence you. And I am the only one that can save this nation because you know they are not coming after me. They are coming after you and I am just in their way.”

Trump attacked Biden for arresting him, saying, “Joe Biden will forever be remembered as not only the most corrupt president in the history of our country, but perhaps, even more importantly, the president who, together with a band of his closest thugs, misfits, and Marxists, tried to destroy American democracy.”

Trump highlighted that polling shows Biden is arresting his top political opponent, telling the crowd, “A corrupt sitting president had his top political opponent arrested on fake and fabricated charges, of which he and numerous other presidents would be guilty, right in the middle of a presidential election in which he is losing very badly.”

Trump referred to Jack Smith as a thug and deranged, coining the nickname Deranged Jack Smith. Trump also noted that Jack Smith’s wife produced Michelle Obama’s documentary.
