Donald Trump picked up significant endorsements for his 2024 presidential campaign from Tennessee on Sunday and Monday. Trump’s support in Tennessee now includes Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty. In addition, Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger, along with Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, Mark Green, and John Rose, endorsed Trump.
On Monday morning, Senator Blackburn released a statement that read, “Under President Trump, our economy was booming, gas prices were low, and inflation was under control. Our border was secure, our adversaries feared us, & our military was strong. I am proud to endorse Donald Trump for President and can’t wait until he’s back in the White House.”

Senator Bill Hagerty released a statement Sunday endorsing Trump which read, “It is my honor to give my whole-hearted endorsement to Donald J. Trump to be the next President of the United States. I was honored to previously serve in his Administration. Under President Trump, our border was secure, our nation was energy independent, & we witnessed a Blue-Collar Boom that lifted up American workers of all backgrounds. Under President Trump’s leadership, we engaged with strength, & we encouraged our allies to stand strong with us.”

Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger joined Hagerty in endorsing Trump on Sunday writing, ” As an American who values proven leadership, I am proud to give my complete and full endorsement to President Donald J. Trump. I urge my fellow East Tennesseans to join me in supporting him as we work to make America the greatest country the world has ever known once again.”

On Monday, the Trump Campaign released a statement announcing their Tennessee leadership team, ” President Donald J. Trump visited Nashville. Tennessee this weekend to attend the Republican National Committee’s Spring Retreat. At the retreat, he met with and received strong support from Tennessee’s Republican Congressional Delegation. As his polling leads across the country, continue to expand at historic margins. President Trump remains committed to building a campaign of America First patriots that will win the 2024 Tennessee Republican Presidential Primary.”
The Trump campaign statement then went on to list Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty, Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger, Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, Mark Green, and John Rose as Trump’s congressional supporters from the volunteer state.
Current polling has Trump leading DeSantis by 25 points plus nationally. Trump also enjoys a 30-point lead over DeSantis in the Iowa Caucus. It’s expected that Trump’s latest round of endorsements from the volunteer state will push Trump’s already wide lead over DeSantis in Tennessee larger.
