45th President Trump complained that Israel is losing its grip of control over the U.S. Congress as new legislators and younger voters are less likely to support the Jewish nation-state that has for years dictated U.S. foreign policy through pressure groups like AIPAC and a legion of dual Israeli-U.S. citizens in government. Though President Trump specifically blamed left-wing legislators like Reps. AOC and Ilhan Omar for Israel’s loss of control and ownership over Congress, anti-Zionism is sweeping both political parties, including Trump’s own base of support.
President Trump made the remarks on the Ari Hoffman Show, where the host is an outspoken Jewish Zionist. They come as the United States once again barrels toward war in the Middle East, as a direct result of America’s getting involved in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Just last week, three Americans were killed and over 30 more were injured in a drone strike along the Jordanian-Syrian Border, leading to Joe Biden ordering strikes on more than 85 Iranian-linked targets in Syria and Iraq, including installations of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
And though support for Israel and another war in the Middle East are tanking, a bipartisan chorus of politicians, even including President Trump, are still beating the drum for a foreign nation, as America’s own border suffers an invasion of historic proportions.
“The biggest change I’ve seen in Congress is Israel literally owned Congress, you understand that, 10 years ago, 15 years ago. And it was so powerful. It was so powerful,” said President Trump on the Ari Hoffman Show. “And today, it’s almost the opposite.”
“You have between AOC and [Ilhan] Omar and these people that hate Israel, they hate it with a passion, they’re controlling Congress and Israel is not a force in Congress anymore,” Trump went on.
“It’s just amazing. I’ve never seen such a change and we’re not talking about over a very long period of time. But I think you know exactly what I’m saying. They had such power. Israel had such power, and rightfully, over Congress. And now it doesn’t!? It’s incredible actually.”

Trump: “Israel rightly owned congress.”
Trump is clearly an Israeli shill.
I’m not saying there’s a better option.
I am saying that elections are FAKE, gay, and rigged so it simply doesn’t matter. https://t.co/n6x3dolC2w
