A male-to-female transgender inmate in New Jersey was removed from a state women’s prison and transferred to a men’s prison for young adult offenders after he impregnated two of his fellow felons.
Transgender male Demitrius “Demi” Minor was being housed in a women’s prison under far-left policies before the biological reality of the situation took hold and he impregnated two of his fellow inmates, who are actually women. New Jersey adopted the pro-trans prison policies after being ordered to do so in a court ruling, and the state reports that currently, 27 male inmates, most of whom have not undergone “gender reassignment surgery,” reside in that state’s correctional system for women.
Minor, a convicted killer who is serving 30 years in prison for manslaughter and carjacking, was being housed at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women, before impregnating two of them in what have been described as consensual encounters between inmates. Prisoners and staff at the prison have both reported that, with increasing frequency, so-called trans women who still have penises are engaging in prison sex with female inmates though, thus far, Minor appears to be the only one to have gotten any of them pregnant.
After word of the pregnancies got back to state corrections officials in April and they launched an investigation, Minor was reportedly removed from the women’s prison in June and briefly transferred to the New Jersey State Prison, where Minor complains about being “called he and him well over 30 times.”
Shortly thereafter, Minor was moved again to the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility, a prison that houses “young adult” aged inmates where state officials say they could keep a better eye on Minor.
In a blog post made from inside the prison, Minor complains of no air conditioning, misgendering, civil rights violations, and of inmates and staff who are “ignorant to a person like me.” Minor also reports being attacked by some of the young male inmates and even corrections officers, something that state corrections officials have not been willing to comment on, as they say it is under investigation.

According to the New Jersey Department of Corrections, the pro-trans policies that led to Minor being housed in a women’s prison to begin with are under review, as the court ruling that put them in place only required they be in effect for 12 months.
“The department is currently reviewing the policy for housing transgender incarcerated persons with the intention of implementing minor modifications,” the New Jersey Department of Corrections tells NJ.com, seeming to imply that, for the most part, the pro-trans prison policies will remain in effect.
According to readily-available details of Minor’s criminal case, which was covered by local media at the time, he killed his former foster father in an attempted burglary, stabbing the 69-year-old retired railroad worker who had opened up his home to him a total of 24 times, causing his death. Minor was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the killing and a related carjacking in 2012.
