Newly released video reveals Trump supporter Rosanne Boyland was shot in the face by with a projectile by police, before being pushed to the ground and trampled. A D.C. Metro Police officer then beat her with a baton as she died on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
New footage released by Tommy Tatum shows Rosanne was allegedly shot in the face by police before she was knocked to the ground and smothered and before Officer Morris beat her dead.
January 6, 2021, was a sad day in American history; one that will live in infamy – but not for the reasons that progressive politicians and media pundits have been telling us. It was the day that 3 unarmed American citizens were executed by Capitol police, for the transgression of observing their 1st Amendment right to assemble and protest.
Rosanne Boyland died that day, and new footage sheds light on the circumstances surrounding her death.
J6 protestor Tommy Tatum has released previously unseen footage that reveals Boyland was shot in the face by police, with what appears to be a pepper ball, and fell to the ground as police pushed the crowd of demonstrators out of the West Terrace Tunnel, and onto the US Capitol Steps.

As Capitol Police continued to shoot toxic gas munitions into the piled-up group of protestors, Boyland and fellow protestor Philip Anderson can be seen unconscious and motionless on the ground – while fellow protestors attempted to pull them away from the police, to safety.
Anderson was successfully rescued, but Boyland would not be so fortunate. As she lay, unconscious, the footage shows Officer Lila Morris repeatedly beating Boyland’s motionless body with a baton.
Previously released footage showed that Boyland was subsequently laid out on the Capitol steps as frantic Trump supporters tried to revive her. With eyes closed – face blue and bloody – all that was done to revive her was not enough. In desperation she was carried to the West Capitol Entrance as demonstrators begged police to help. The police then dragged Boyland’s lifeless body, by her feet, through the tunnel and Boyland was never seen alive again.
Since that fateful day, the narrative surrounding the motives and events of the protest have taken on a life of their own. Fear-inducing rhetoric about “insurrectionists” and “white-supremacists” have been touted by establishment politicians and mainstream media pundits. The most powerful government on earth, we’ve been told, was under real threat of a coup d’etat, at the hands of a few hundred unarmed protestors.
In the video, you clearly see J6 defendant Philip Anderson duck as a projectile is shot at him as he was stuck in the crowd of Trump supporters in the West Tunnel.
Articles written about Rosanne Boyland clearly sought to dehumanize the victim – referring to her as a “QAnon follower”, “rioter”, “insurrectionist”, and “drug addict”.
Boyland’s death, we have been told, was not caused by the actions of the Capitol police, but through some misdeeds of her own. Like so many of the claims we have heard from these sources over the past few years, this new footage reveals this one to also be a lie.
Boyland’s life came to a brutal end as a direct result of the merciless actions of the police that day – some of whom presumably believed what the media told them about Donald Trump and his supporters, making them worthy of only contempt and disregard.
Rosanne Boyland was crushed, and her lifeless body beaten by police, because Trump supporters are “things” and not “humans”.
Had Rosanne Boyland been a protestor in one of the many violent BLM riots of 2020, which left an estimated 1-2 billion dollars in damages and dozens of dead bodies in its wake – had she been slain by police in the pursuit of progressive causes chanting “no Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA” – had she been waving a rainbow flag or storming a line of police yelling about “oppression” and “colonialism”… we can only image how different the tone and tenor surrounding her death would be.
Because Boyland was a Trump supporter, the implied message from the establishment has been that anyone who died at the Capitol that day was “asking for it”.
We can only hope that in Donald Trump’s second term, a more serious probe can be done into the events of that day; and restitution can be granted to its real victims.
Not the pompous and wealthy politicians who sat in cushy chairs as they certified a questionable election; but the slain, the imprisoned, the maligned and destroyed . One can only hope.
