A Russian diplomat has demanded the Biden administration answer whether or not the United States was behind the recent damages Russia’s Nord Stream pipelines suffered.
Maria Zakharova, Russia’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman, citing past Biden comments where he threatened to end Nord Stream if Russia invaded Ukraine, directly asked Biden if the United States was behind the Nord Stream damages that occurred earlier this week.
“US President Joe Biden must answer the question of whether the United States carried out its threat on September 25 and 26 when an emergency was reported at three lines of Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2, which has been preliminarily recognized as ruptures, whereas he suggested those were blown up,” Zakharova posted on Telegram.
Zakharova also posted a video of Biden from February 7th where he promised the US could destroy Nord Stream “if Russia invades.”

“His statement of intent was backed up with a promise. One must be responsible for one’s words. Failure to understand what one says does not absolve anyone of responsibility. Europe must know the truth!” Zakharova said with her video post.
A Russian press release containing Zakharova’s comments suggested the pipeline damages were intentional since “Swedish seismologists said two explosions had been recorded along the routes of both pipelines on Monday.”
National File previously reported on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson’s speculation over the Biden administration’s involvement in the Nord Stream pipelines:
Carlson suggested President Biden’s administration could be responsible for damaging the pipelines to help advance the climate change agenda, while also potentially ushering in a world war conflict with Vladimir Putin and Russia.
Government officials from Norway, Sweden, and Denmark have labeled the leaks as “deliberate” and probably the result of “sabotage.”
