The globalist warmongering RINO known as Mitt Romney announced he is retiring from the United States Senate. In his departing message, Romney issued globalist attacks against Trump. President Trump called Romney’s retirement fantastic news for America.
Romney attacked Trump, saying, ” Donald Trump calls global warming a hoax.” Romney also attacked Trump for “Underinvesting in our global alliances.” Romney ended his video by taking credit for passing globalist policies such as anti-2nd Amendment bills and passing the Electoral Count Act.

Following Romney’s video release, Donald Trump posted on TruthSocial in all caps, “FANTASTIC NEWS FOR AMERICA, THE GREAT STATE OF UTAH, & FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. MITT ROMNEY, SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS PIERRE DELECTO, WILL NOT BE SEEKING A SECOND TERM IN THE U.S. SENATE, WHERE HE DID NOT SERVE WITH DISTINCTION. A BIG PRIMARY FIGHT AGAINST HIM WAS IN THE OFFING, BUT NOW THAT WILL NOT BE NECESSARY. CONGRATS TO ALL. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Many now speculate that Mitt Romney may run as a third-party candidate in 2024 in an effort to sabotage Trump’s reelection chances. 40,000 votes across 4 states decided the 2020 election. Romney pulling even just 1% away from Trump across 4 swing states could be enough to hand the Democrat a victory.
However, Trump is in a much stronger position in 2024 than in 2020. A third-party candidate would likely need to pull 4 or 5% away from Trump to make a meaningful election impact. Mitt Romney no longer has the political clout to pull that off.

It’s worth noting that Romney seemed to be slurring his words in his retirement video, Romney has never slurred his words before.
Either way, Romney’s retirement puts America First Patriots in a much stronger position to capture the Utah Senate Seat.
