A new report reveals that a “highly credible” confidential human source told the FBI as far back as 2020 that a high-level Burisma executive paid a $5 million bribe to Joe Biden between 2015 and 2016 when Biden was the sitting Vice President of the United States and when deposed Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin was investigating Burisma, a deep state-tied natural gas company on which Hunter Biden sat as a board member.
The informant told the FBI that the Ukrainian executive in question has documents and audio recordings detailing his $5 million payment to Joe Biden and that the audio recordings, 17 of them in total, document calls to both Joe and Hunter Biden, a Fox News report states.
The bribe, the “trusted” and “highly credible” informant claims, was paid to the Bidens for then-Vice President Joe’s help in getting rid of Viktor Shokin, the Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating Burisma at the time of the alleged payment. Burisma is a deep state-tied Ukrainian oil and gas firm on which Hunter Biden sat as a board member and the investigation was blocking Burisma from making further investments.

The news has led to increased speculation that Joe Biden is currently being blackmailed by the Ukrainians over the situation, leading to unprecedented levels of military and financial aid pouring into the country from the United States.

Consistent with the bribe paid to the Bidens, Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin was fired in 2016, and Joe Biden boasted at the Council on Foreign Relations that he himself was behind Shokin’s firing, having leveraged the Ukrainians to get rid of him by withholding American aid payments.
“I went over, I guess the 12th, 13th time to Kiev and I was supposed to announce that there was another billion dollar loan guarantee,” Biden told the CFR, adding that he’d gotten assurances from the Ukrainian government that they were going to fire Shokin, the man looking into Biden-tied Burisma but “they didn’t.”
“So I said ‘Nah, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars’,” Biden said.
“I said ‘I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars.’ I said ‘You’re not getting the billion, I’m gonna be leaving here…I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor’s not fired you’re not getting the money’,” Biden said.
“Well, son of a bitch! He got fired. And, they put in place someone who was solid at the time,” he added.
