Wyoming House candidate Darin Smith is trying to hide evidence of his criticism of President Donald Trump’s foreign policy, according to a report by Gateway Pundit.
Cassandra Fairbanks reported that “there is currently a massively crowded field in the Wyoming House race, which will greatly benefit the incumbent Liz Cheney — so it is worth diving into who these people challenging her really are. One of the candidates, Darin Smith, was an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump’s foreign policy — but is now attempting to hide and erase all evidence of it.”
The report notes that Smith in 2016 criticized President Trump and championed globalist foreign policies that run contrary to the America First movement, even referring to the United States as the police of the world.
“The world without America leading is like a city without policemen. America has got to lead. Donald Trump did miss this, I do like Donald on a lot of issues but that one is wrong,” said Smith. “We’ve got to protect our allies, we’ve got to stand with our allies. We are not standing with our allies right now with Israel and Britain, we have not been with them and we need to do that.” In addition to his anti-Trump globalist rhetoric, it was revealed that Smith had deleted a section of his website in which called for intervention in the Middle East.
“According to polls, over 70% of Wyoming republican primary voters do not support an interventionist foreign policy like the one that Smith deleted from his website,” the report continues. “More specifically, 84 percent of voters disagree that America should act as the world’s police.”
As Wyoming gears up to replace the disgraced and embattled Liz Cheney, National File senior reporter Patrick Howley recently delivered a powerful speech criticizing Cheney and America’s globalist political elites. “Liz Cheney…she’s not going to be one of our leaders anymore. And I’ll tell you another thing: Kevin McCarthy ain’t going to be one of our leaders anymore either. We are going to win more seats in the 2022 midterm than any insurgent populist movement has ever won in the history of this country. We’re going to pick our own Speaker, and then Donald Trump’s going to win a third term!”
