Former U.S. senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) was reportedly assaulted, mugged and robbed of her cell phone in Oakland, California on Monday. Boxer was a longtime social justice activist in the Senate who still frequently tweets about her support for “racial justice” and the “original sin” of America’s White founding fathers.
“Earlier today former Senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted in the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland,” Boxer’s account tweeted on Monday. “The assailant pushed her in the back, stole her cell phone and jumped in a waiting car. She is thankful that she was not seriously injured.”

Boxer, 80, has tweeted frequently about her support of black grievance politics. In June she weighed in on the issue of critical race theory being taught in schools, writing, “To the GOP Governor of Texas: you can try to force educators to avoid the truth about America’s original sin but we will tell the truth about that and about you. Here is the truth: history is history and you are a liar.”

“If I had a black grandchild, or a black child, I don’t even know I’d let them out the door,” Boxer said about alleged police racism in April. “Um, that’s how bad it is.”
