President Donald Trump said that all contributors to the Nikki Haley campaign “will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp,” adding that “We don’t want them” and “will not accept them.” Trump is far outpacing Nikki Haley in the Republican primary voting and beating her by 37 points in South Carolina but Haley is hanging on ostensibly to seize some delegates ahead of the Republican National Convention as the Deep State tries to railroad President Trump with politically motivated criminal prosecutions. But the MAGA camp keeps on rolling. And if ’80s movies are any indicator, the populist underdog camp usually defeats the snooty rich kids’ camp in the end.

When I ran for Office and won, I noticed that the losing Candidate’s ‘Donors’ would immediately come to me, and want to ‘help out.’ This is standard in Politics, but no longer with me. Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp. We don’t want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!,” Trump exclaimed.
President Donald J. Trump and his son Don Jr. are resisting the establishment’s wicked potential effort to get Nikki Haley added to the Republican ticket. The reported Haley ploy is similar to how Lyndon Baines Johnson schemed his way onto the Democrat ticket in 1960 with John F. Kennedy. Since Trump’s victories in Iowa and New Hampshire, it seems less likely than ever that Haley will get added to the ticket.
Nikki Haley claimed in New Hampshire that she did not want to be Trump’s running mate and that the idea was “off the table,” though she also previously falsely claimed “I would not run (for president) if President Trump ran” so we know her words are meaningless. Responding to Haley’s possible head-fake, Don Trump Junior tweeted, “Your terms are 100% acceptable. Thank you.”
“She’s not presidential timber. Now when I say that, that probably means that she’s not going to be chosen as the vice president,” Trump said in New Hampshire days ago.
John F. Kennedy famously only picked Lyndon Johnson for running mate in 1960 because he reportedly said “Those bastards were trying to frame me,” referring in part to Johnson.
