The possibility of a Biden presidency is seeing a spike of illegal entries into the United States along the US Mexico border. Biden’s declared lenient border enforcement policies – coupled with his nanny state agenda for all – is proving to be a magnet for illegal immigration.
US Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) agents are reporting a wave of illegal immigration at the southwest border. Officials said Thursday that the numbers have increased 21 percent over the last month alone.
Acting CPB Commissioner Mark Morgan said Mexico’s deteriorating economy – and economy drastically affected by COVID shutdowns and drug cartel violence – is largely responsible for the uptick of illegal crossings.
But he also cited the “perceived and/or anticipated shifts in policies” here in the United States if, in fact, the 2020 presidential election ultimately finds Democrat Joe Biden being president.

Among the existing policies that Biden has stated he will curtail is the Migrant Protection Protocols, or “remain in Mexico.” This policy allowed CBP to return most illegal immigrants back to Mexico while they waited their immigration hearings.
Also attractive to illegal entrants is the probability that a Biden administration will codify many social services to those undocumented immigrants who have found residency in the United States illegally.
