On Friday night, WISN 12 News asked Former Speaker of the House and current Fox News Board Member Paul Ryan whether he plans on attending the 2024 Republican National Convention. “For the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where will you be?” Ryan was asked. “It depends on who the nominee is. I’ll be here if it’s somebody not named Trump,” the former House Speaker replied.
WISN News pressed Paul Ryan following his comments that he would not attend the 2024 convention if Trump were the nominee, even though the convention is being held in Wisconsin, which is the state that Ryan used to represent.
“You won’t show up if it’s Trump?” Ryan was again asked. “No, I am not interested in that,” he responded.
Ryan was then asked, “Even in Wisconsin.” Ryan gave a long dramatic pause and then replied to the question saying, “Even Wisconsin.”
Following the release of Ryan’s interview, Twitter users quickly pointed out that no one would miss Paul Ryan at the 2024 RNC Convention.
Paul Ryan says he will not attend the 2024 RNC Convention if Donald Trump is the nominee.
As if he would be invited.

Paul Ryan says he won’t attend the 2024 RNC if Trump is the Nominee…
That is the best endorsement Paul Ryan could give President Trump!

At the same event, Ryan was also asked by Wisconsin Station Fox 6, “Who do you back in 2024?” Ryan answered, “That would be the person not named Donald Trump, so I don’t really have a dog in the fight. Other than that, if we nominate Trump again, we’re going to lose. It’s just that clear. We lost with him in ’18, ’20 and ’22. We know this. He will cost us another election, so I’m just excited about somebody not named Trump. There are great people running. I know them all. They’re all pretty decent friends of mine, and so I think any one of these candidates that are thinking about getting in the race, if they get in the race, would be a great candidate. I think we’re going to beat Joe Biden if we don’t run Donald Trump.”
Paul Ryan has been calling himself a “Never Again Trumper” since November 2022.
Ryan continues to attack President Trump despite many polls showing Trump with a significant lead over the 2024 GOP Primary.
Interestingly former Ohio Governor and Never Trumper John Kasich skipped the 2016 RNC Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, because Trump was the nominee.
