A leaked Biden administration document confirms rampant drug trafficking and corruption in the South American country of Paraguay, and the leak further complicates foreign policy during the chaotic and disturbing Joe Biden era.
“I would like to call your attention to the leak of the file of Biden administration on ‘helping’ Paraguay combat corruption. It’s shocking and, I believe, it’s a clear example of Biden’s incompetence. Imagine that our government is so vulnerable that important files are easily leaked, then it will be a crucial threat to our national security. However, Biden turned a blind eye on this matter and gave no response while some news media had already covered this episode,” our source told NATIONAL FILE.
The leak emerged on the Spanish-language website La Politica Online. The English translation of the article states: “In the first paragraphs, Paraguay is painted as a country dominated by a “culture of impunity” whose protagonists are a good part of the politicians who “also manage economic activity” and the transnational crime organizations that traffic drugs and weapons through his territory.”
Jeff Crouere writes at American Thinker: In fact, the report calls Pena “a puppet” and includes the demand that Cartes “be weakened.”..Interestingly, Cartes and his aides, as well as local reporters, also received a copy of the supposedly secret document, entitled “Paraguay Interagency Integrated Anti-Corruption Action Plan.” The report was drafted with input from several federal agencies, including the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National Security Council (NSC). Such classified information was not meant for public consumption, but alas, it was leaked on September 26. This infuriated Pena, resulting in the Paraguayan Foreign Ministry calling in U.S. ambassador Marc Ostfield for a meeting the next day.” (American Thinker passage ends)
With the massive drug trafficking problem in Paraguay now confirmed by the United States, it is more important than ever that Joe Biden does not further complicate and ruin the diplomatic situation with a country close enough to our own borders to be highly relevant to us during a time of mass invasion of our homeland.
