Democrats and their mega-donor class are dumping millions of dollars into deep-blue Oregon as the state’s gubernatorial race shifts into toss-up territory and voters look poised to elect a Republican governor for the first time since 1982.
Under the total control of some of America’s most radical leftist politicians for decades, Oregon’s voters look poised to make a change. In recent polling data, nearly 1/3 of voters credit the out-of-control “leftist agenda” for their support of the GOP’s gubernatorial nominee, Christine Drazan. Other voters are more specific, crediting Democrat failures to control crime, homelessness, and the economy for their GOP support.
Far-left Democrat Governor Kate Brown, who has been hailed by Democrats as the first LGBT governor of a state for her publicly-declared bisexuality, holds the title of America’s least popular governor, approved of by only around 39% of the state’s residents.
Her selected replacement, Tina Kotek, is a fellow extreme-left LGBT’er who has made her quest to become the nation’s first full-blown lesbian governor a centerpiece of her campaign. Kotek worked closely alongside Brown, sitting as Oregon’s Democrat Speaker of the House from 2013 to 2022. That period seems to directly coincide with Oregon’s rapid downfall.
Both Brown and Kotek have been pegged as two of the most extreme elected Democrats in the nation, each supporting Oregon’s draconian COVID lockdowns and jab mandates, the destruction of parental rights, and the flooding of streets of lethal drugs.
In 2020, they stood idly by and threw signs of approval to the Anfifa radicals that held Portland under siege with hundreds of days of deadly riots. According to the Antifa rioters themselves, they were seizing upon the death of criminal George Floyd in an effort to spark a communist revolution in the US.

According to state-level polling data, a whopping 62% of Oregonians say the state has gone in the wrong direction under the leadership of Democrats like Brown and Kotek. Despite the state’s historically reliable Democrat voting in presidential and gubernatorial elections alike, just 35% of Oregonians say Joe Biden is doing a good job in DC.
All that disapproval has led to a massive surge in the polls by the Republican nominee to be the next Governor of Oregon, Christine Drazan. Channeling widespread disapproval with the far-left Democrat agenda, Drazan has released a “roadmap for Oregon’s future” which promises a return to law and order, government transparency, and parental rights in schools.

According to several polls that have been released over the last month, the Governor’s race, once thought to be a shoo-in for Democrats, has been flipped on its head as a result of Drazan’s candidacy. Drazan actually leads in a number of polls, and the race is evenly split in others. Even corporate media outlets have now had to admit that the race has entered “toss-up” territory.
That’s led to desperate Democrats dumping millions of dollars into the state and mobilizing big-money political oligarchs from all over the country to rush in and save far-left Tina Kotek. Last week, the Democrat Governor’s Association threw Kotek a lifeline, to the tune of a $1.25 million cash infusion to rescue her campaign.
