GOP Voters became enraged at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over his weak statement about Joe Biden’s arrest of Donald Trump. Many GOP voters are calling on the Florida Governor to show up at the Miami Courthouse on Tuesday to show solidarity with President Trump. So far, DeSantis does not look interested in attending.
Ron DeSantis chose to write about himself after it was announced that Joe Biden’s DOJ would be arresting President Trump. DeSantis wrote on Twitter, “The weaponization of federal law enforcement represents a mortal threat to a free society. We have for years witnessed an uneven application of the law depending upon political affiliation. Why so zealous in pursuing Trump yet so passive about Hillary or Hunter? The DeSantis administration will bring accountability to the DOJ, excise political bias, and end weaponization once and for all.

DeSantis writing about his “future administration” and only bringing up Trump’s name once enraged many GOP voters. One GOP voter responded to DeSantis’ statement with, ” The very first hour after the indictment story was released, your campaign was bragging that you were closing in on Trump in Iowa. This should have been said the very first hours you have lots of time to brag about losing in on Iowa but not today and you did it anyway.”

Laura Loomer responded to DeSantis’ statement by tweeting, “Every single Republican voter should be anti-@RonDeSantis. For years, as I have been reporting, he has been a sitting duck, waiting for President Trump to be indicted so he can run against him. This is well known in Florida. After J6, DeSantis and his staff were openly laughing about the odds of Donald Trump being indicted over J6. Everyone in Tallahassee has also known that DeSantis’s strategy for announcing was to run around the time Trump would be indicted. Why would anyone want to support a candidate who plots to Demise the man they owe their political career to and then uses political persecution of that same person to advance their career? I hope you all see how TWISTED and MENTAL this tweet from Ron DeSantis is. You have to be very evil to end a tweet like this amid such persecution. DeSantis showed us all with this tweet he cares more about his own political aspirations than standing up for what is right. It’s really sick.”
GOP voters are also calling on all GOP candidates running for president to show up at the Miami Florida Courthouse on Tuesday for Trump’s arraignment.

One Twitter user pointed out the fact that DeSantis’ latest statement matches the Mar-A Lago raid statement almost word for word “Desantis’ statement is essentially the same weak response he made last summer after the raid of Mar-a-Lago “Weaponization, Hunter Biden. Etc”. He didn’t even refute the charges. He then proceeds to campaign off of it. Despicable stuff.”
