A New York Times reporter believes the latest New York investigation into 45th President Donald Trump and his immediate family has sealed the deal on the former president’s third run for the White House.
New York Attorney General Letitia James announced – via Twitter – that her office had opened a new investigation alleging financial mismanagement on behalf of The Trump Organization, and wrote – on Twitter – that the 45th’s children Ivanka, Eric, and Don Trump would all participate in the criminal investigation.
New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, the newspaper’s White House correspondent, believes this will spur Trump to run again.
“Any question of whether Trump runs seem to have been answered this morning,” wrote the left wing avant-garde.
“His aides have always signaled that if the investigations progressed that he would run for president again,” Haberman explained.

Speculation about President Trump’s plans for 2024 have remained nebulous, though close observers have been led to believe that he is planning another run for the White House.
On the 10 year anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, President Trump suggested as much while speaking with New York firemen, and one asked about his plans for 2024.
“Oh, that’s a tough question,” said President Trump amid laughter. “Actually for me, it’s an easy question, I mean I know what I’m going to do.”
He added, “We’re not supposed to be talking about it yet, from the standpoint of campaign finance laws,” before turning toward the man.
“I think you’re going to be happy, let me put it that way. I think you’re going to be very happy.”

It is true that President Trump overwhelmingly wins any Republican Party presidential preference poll in which he is mentioned, and in October a whopping 67% of Republicans said they either wanted him to run for another term, or for another candidate espousing Trump’s America First agenda to take his banner.
Some prominent Democrats have already resigned themselves to the reality of Trump representing the Republican Party in 2024.
Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton falls into this category.
“If he wants to be the [Republican] nominee, he will be the nominee,” Clinton conceded during an appearance on The View.
