Amid calls by the globalist elite for climate lockdowns to address “climate change,” New York City has issued a dystopian emergency alert to all citizens and businesses to immediately limit the use of “energy intensive appliances” such as air conditioning because it’s hot outside.
New York City has issued an emergency alert to citizens and business urging them to “immediately limit” the use of “energy intensive appliances” because its really hot outside. “Conserve Energy: NYC is urging all households and businesses to immediately limit energy usage to prevent power outages as the intense heat continues,” the emergency alert states. “Please avoid the use of energy intensive appliances such as washers, dryers, and microwaves. Limit unnecessary use of air conditioning.” Far left NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio chimed in to urge citizens to take “IMMEDIATE action” to reduce their use of electricity for the rest of the day to “avoid energy disruptions during this heat emergency.”
We need New Yorkers to take IMMEDIATE action: reduce your use of electricity in your home or your business for the rest of the day. We need to avoid energy disruptions during this heat emergency. https://t.co/w5BQDHzUFt

“The extreme heat will hopefully break early tomorrow morning. Let’s get to that point safely,” tweeted de Blasio, accompanied by a notice from the energy company “asking all customers in NYC to conserve energy” and “limit use of appliances” while they report outages caused by the increased strain on the city’s grid.
As was reported by National File, the globalist elite are calling for the “equivalent of a coronavirus-pandemic-scale lockdown once every two years” to tackle climate change, which would involve the government forcefully limiting private-vehicle use, banning the consumption of red meat, preventing fossil fuel companies from drilling, and imposing extreme energy-saving measures.
“As COVID-19 spread earlier this year, governments introduced lockdowns in order to prevent a public-health emergency from spinning out of control. In the near future, the world may need to resort to lockdowns again – this time to tackle a climate emergency,” wrote Mariana Mazzucato, a professor in the Economics of Innovation and Public Value at University College London and the author of Mission Economy: A Moonshot Guide to Changing Capitalism, in October 2020.
Similar rhetoric has been echoed by Democrats in Congress, who have introduced a bill called the “National Climate Emergency Act of 2021” which “will require the Federal Government to work with international, State, and local governments, including with those governments that have declared a climate emergency, to reverse the impacts of the climate crisis.” The bill also calls for Joe Biden to declare a national emergency under section 201 of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1621) with respect to climate change.
