New Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino is a high-ranking member of Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum and has held the position of WEF Executive Chair since 2019, attending Schwab’s annual Davos WEF Summit as recently as this year. Yaccarino, who has long worked for NBC, was named Twitter’s new CEO on Friday.
New Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino lists her affiliation with Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF) on her LinkedIn profile, reporting that she’s served as a World Economic Forum Executive Chair since January 2019.
“Yaccarino is the Chairman of the WEF’s Taskforce on Future of Work and sits on the WEF’s Media, Entertainment, and Culture Industry Governors Steering Committee,” a biography on her Linked profile reads.
“She is also highly engaged with the [WEF’s] Value in Media initiative,” Yaccarino’s biography adds, citing her work with a WEF program that seeks to maximize the globalist influence operation and its affiliates’ roles in the media “ecosystem”.
In addition to the WEF role described on her LinkedIn profile, Yaaccarino appears several times in search results when her name is searched on the World Economic Forum’s website, including in an event guide for 2023’s Davos Summit, the annual meeting of the WEF. According to the guide, Yaccarino was scheduled to give a 30-minute presentation at the summit on the topic of “Sport in Industry and Society.”
In addition to her work with NBC and the World Economic Forum, Yaccarino has shown support for multiple left-wing pet issues, including online censorship, even suggesting previously that Twitter owner Elon Musk censor his own use of the platform.
In a tweet announcing Yaccarino’s hiring as Twitter CEO, Elon Musk wrote that he’s “excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter,” and explained that Yaccarino “will focus primarily on business operations.”
Musk added that he will “focus on product design & new technology.”
