Hospitals in multiple Democrat-run states have reinstituted mask mandates as doctors adhering to the Center for Prevention and Disease Control claim the measure will contain a surge of winter viruses amid an allegedly impending “quad-demic”.
New Jersey’s largest hospital, RWJBarnabas Health, brought back its mask requirement for all staff, patients and visitors despite the state’s reportedly “low” rate of Covid infection.
Staff will provide new masks for everyone who walks in the door and “may ask you to replace your own mask with a hospital-supplied mask” as part of the mandate, the New Jersey system, which treats 3 million patients per year, said Monday. “Every patient has the right to request their healthcare provider and staff wear a mask when treating them.”
The system also urged patients with a fever, cough, muscle or body aches, or Covid or flu-like symptoms to stay home rather than come to the hospital for treatment.
Similarly, counties in San Francisco have brought back mask mandates on November 18 that are slated to remain in effect until April 230.
The hospital will also force visitors to use hand sanitizer before entering hospital buildings.
New York health officials issued mask recommendations in December, urging the public to cover their faces in germ-ridden fabrics while commuting during the winter season. Hospitals in Nassau and Suffolk counties in New York have also urged patients to mask up and get vaccinated against Covid, flu, and RSV.
Experts contend four winter viruses have emerged indicating an impending “quad-demic.”
According to the CDC’s wastewater data, Covid activity and Covid deaths are currently “low” nationally, but there is a slight uptick infections.
Four percent of Covid tests were positive in the week of November 6, but the number of Covid cases across the nation rose to to 5.4 percent during the week of December 7. Covid rates in Louisiana and Georgia are, however, are still considered “high”
Numerous studies confirm mask mandates do nothing to prevent the transmission of viruses or aerosols.
In fact, recently published research confirms wearing face coverings increases the likelihood of getting sick or contracting a deadly infection.
After examining the correlation between morbidity and mask usage using data collected from 35 European countries over six months throughout the 2020-2021 winter, Associate Professor Beny Spira at the University of São Paulo found wearing masks not only useless in preventing the transmission of COVID or airborne viruses but a “moderate positive correlation between mask usage and deaths.”
According to Spira’s peer-reviewed study published in Cureus Journal of Medical Science in April 2022, face masks do nothing to prevent transmission of disease and actually increase the risk of dying from COVID-19 and respiratory illnesses.
“The findings presented in this short communication suggest that countries with high levels of mask compliance did not perform better than those with low mask usage in the six-month period that encompassed the second European wave of COVID-19,” Spira notes in the study titled, Correlation Between Mask Compliance and COVID-19 Outcomes in Europe.
Anthony Fauci has admitted that the Biden administration’s efforts to reinstate mask mandates is about preserving “authority” over public health decisions rather than keeping people safe.
“One of the issues, Neil, that I have articulated in the past and I will in the future – it’s less about mandates on the plane than it is about who has the right and the authority and the capability of making public health decisions,” the disgraced doctor previously told Fox News.
“I believe that the Department of Justice is operating on the principle that decisions that are public health decisions belong with the public health agency, in this case, the CDC,” He continued, “So it’s more of a matter of principle of where the authority lies than it is about whether or not there’s gonna be a mandate on a plane or not.”
