The controversial Kevin McCarthy speaker bid is causing a rift within the House GOP.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) ripped into Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Co.) after the Colorado congresswoman expressed her unwillingness to support Kevin McCarthy in the January 3rd House Speaker election.
Greene slammed Boebert in a series of tweets after Boebert made comments to TPUSA’s Charlie Kirk which pushed back on a McCarthy speakership.
Kirk noted how MTG believes McCarthy will be a good Speaker of the House.
“I’ve been aligned with Marjorie and been accused of believing a lot of the things she believes in but I don’t believe in this just like I don’t believe in Jewish space lasers,” Rep. Boebert responded to Kirk, referencing a 2018 Facebook post where Greene suggested the Rothschild family used lasers to set off the California wildfires.

Boebert’s comments clearly infuriated Greene, who took to Twitter to complain about how the Colorado congresswomen received funding from herself and McCarthy but has yet to endorse a McCarthy speakership.
“She gladly takes our $$$ but…she refuses to support Kevin McCarthy, and she childishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bite,” Greene posted on Twitter.
She went on to call Boebert’s comments “high school drama.”
The country is facing extremely difficult times. Americans expect conservative fighters like us to work together to Save America and that is the only mission I’m 100% devoted to, not high school drama and media sound bites.

Greene has faced severe backlash from Republicans refusing to support establishment ringleader Kevin McCarthy.
Laura Loomer, a former Republican congressional candidate, disavowed her support of Greene after she backed McCarthy. “I cannot in good faith continue to support her or encourage others to support her when she claims to fight for America First and then supports Kevin McCarthy, who is on the record working against America First candidates,” Loomer told National File in late November.
“MTG’s failure to remain true to her claims of fighting corruption and the establishment in DC has been made clear by the way she is willing to continue to back McCarthy, even after it was reported that he used FTX money against America First candidates like me, and other candidates she once claimed to support,” Loomer added.
