Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger is touting her supposed bipartisanship as she seeks re-election in Virginia’s 7th District, but votes in line with Joe Biden’s agenda 100 percent of the time on Capitol Hill. Spanberger, who formerly worked in the CIA and only won re-election in 2020 after thousands of Democrat votes were discovered on a discarded thumb drive, has previously refused to answer on whether she will support a Biden re-run in 2024.
Virginia Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger, of the state’s purple 7th District, is once again masquerading as a moderate to win re-election to Congress, where she votes in line with Joe Biden’s agenda 100% of the time. In November’s mid-terms, she faces off against Prince William County Supervisor and law enforcement officer Yesli Vega, who has been endorsed by Freedom Caucus Rep. Bob Good, as well as Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
Despite Virginia’s adoption of an independent re-districting process, the 7th District was heavily gerrymandered in an open effort to keep Spanberger competitive. Ironically, that move came after some on the left complained that a female Democrat Congresswoman had been drawn out of her seat by a process that was adopted to eliminate gerrymandering.

The new 7th District is a forecasted toss-up in 2022, and in a potential red wave election cycle, Yesli Vega has incumbent Rep. Abigail Spanberger desperately trying to dissociate herself from the failed Biden administration in the eyes of voters. Spanberger has even gone so far as to publicly reject Biden’s help along the campaign trail.

In a recent run of campaign ads, Spanberger tries to break free of Biden’s failures by painting herself as a bipartisan moderate who frequently works with Republicans in the interests of her constituents. The ads come on the heels of a Fox News appearance in which Spanberger refused to commit to supporting Biden in 2024. The 2024 refusal has become a common tactic of embattled Democrats in purple districts where voters look poised to call them back from Washington.
Despite Spanberger’s claims of bipartisanship and public refusal to endorse Biden in 2024, her voting record shows that she is practically joined at the hip with the far-left Biden administration. According to FiveThirtyEight’s Biden vote tracker, Rep. Abigail Spanberger votes with Joe Biden 100% of the time, making her an even better Democrat than “Squad” members like AOC, who boasts a mere 94% Biden vote rate.
