Twitter hit National File reporter Charles Downs with community notes over a tweet that shared National File’s article reporting on Laura Loomer’s compelling accusations that the account @MaxNordau is the burner account of Ron DeSantis Communications Director Bryan Griffin. However, the community notes did not state any facts to disprove that @MaxNordau is Bryan Griffin.
The community notes placed on Downs’ tweet read, “This is false. Ron DeSantis’ press secretary, Bryan Griffin has denied these allegations and said, “I don’t do things anonymously; I put my name and face to everything I stand for.”
Griffin denied these allegations but offered no facts. Even more disturbing is the fact that the author of the Redstate article is an anon by the name of Bonchie.
Trump supporters began to accuse Twitter of being in the tank for Ron DeSantis after Downs’ account was hit with the notes.

Community Notes is now directly calling things lies based on the word of DeSantis staffers.
And the denial never even said what he was denying. It didn't even include the question he was responding to.

Laura Loomer presented additional compelling evidence that @MaxNordau is Bryan Griffin tweeting, “Wow! If this is true, this is very damning…”

Based on all the facts Loomer has presented, the account @MaxNordau has to either be Bryan Griffin himself or someone extremely close to the DeSantis operation.
Despite the facts, DeSantis operatives have been upping their attacks against Downs and National File.
Why does National File exclusively employ people who have something wrong with them?
