Conservative activist and two-time GOP Congressional candidate Laura Loomer stands by her assertion that Milo Yiannopoulos is “undermining” President Trump. An unnamed Trump advisor allegedly told NBC News that the dinner between the former president, Kanye West and Nick Fuentes was a “set-up” to discredit Trump. The corporate press has made Trump’s “association” with Nick Fuentes its main topic of discussion for a week despite the fact that the dinner came about spontaneously.
According to Laura Loomer, Yiannopoulos is “openly attacking and sabotaging” Trump while working as campaign manager for Kanye West.
Loomer also claimed that Yiannopoulos, who previously worked as an intern for U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has far more sway over the Georgia congressman than she lets on. “Marjorie Traitor Greene is lying about her relationship with Milo,” Loomer wrote in a Telegram post on Thursday.
“He said that he stopped working with her as an intern this summer. That’s a lie, and I have proof for any reporter who wants to see it,” Loomer said.
MTG has drawn the ire of America First conservatives in recent weeks over her stern backing of U.S. Rep. Kevin McCarthy for House Speaker. Despite upwards of 20 House Republicans who have signaled some level of opposition, as well as a growing number of hard no’s, Greene has stood by the longtime establishment leader.
The Georgia congresswoman, along with McCarthy himself, has claimed that not doing so would pave the way for a Democrat becoming speaker. Not one House Republican has signaled that they would rather vote for a Democrat as opposed to a challenger, such as U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ).
Marjorie-Taylor Greene has also been under pressure to disavow Yiannopoulos. She has firmly disavowed Nick Fuentes, accusing him of “racism” and “antisemitism.”
