A leaked video from Sde Teiman prison showing Israeli soldiers and a dog raping and torturing a Palestinian prisoner has finally uncovered decades of hidden horrors Palestinians endured, silenced by the shame of sexual violence.
The video’s leak ignited widespread outrage in Israel—not against the crimes themselves but because the abuse was exposed. Demonstrators swarmed outside the Supreme Court, bizarrely demanding protection for the soldiers’ so-called “right to rape Palestinians” and calling for the punishment of Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, who leaked the footage. Leading politicians and media personalities brazenly defended these soldiers, with Israel’s finance minister hailing them as national heroes.
Testimonies collected by the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights lay bare a nightmare of forced nudity, electrocution, repeated rapes, videotaped assaults, and the use of objects and trained dogs in depraved sexual violence. The PCHR’s detailed 129-page report based on 153 testimonies documents how Israeli prisons are torture factories where sexual abuse is engineered as a tool of domination and genocide.
But this brutality extends beyond Palestinians. Israeli society itself is riddled with endemic sexual violence. According to the Jerusalem Post, some 84,000 Israeli girls, many underage, suffer sexual abuse, often in “sadistic sexual religious rituals” within ultra-Orthodox communities.
This is not an isolated scandal—this is the face of a twisted, satanic culture that openly boasts of these crimes. Soldiers regularly post videos mocking their victims by dressing in stolen Palestinian women’s clothes while bragging about their abuses on social media. Meanwhile, Israeli politicians and media spread lies to justify their war crimes, accusing Hamas of crimes they themselves perpetrate with impunity.
The truth is clear: the Israeli military’s policy of torture and sexual violence is a weapon against Palestinians. This report and the videos it includes are essential documents that expose the horror Israel tries to hide but can no longer deny.
