Earlier today the Senate Homeland Security and Finance Committees released an interim report on the activities of Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, related to his luxurious Burisma job and ties to Ukraine as well as other foreign governments, including China.
Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed that the report was difficult to construct due to “many obstacles” from Democrats and agencies that agencies “failed to comply with document requests.”
In their report, the Senators say that documents from the Treasury Department “show potential criminal activity relating to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family, and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese nationals.”
They report also states that records indicate Hunter Biden “sent thousands of dollars” to groups and individuals that have “either been involved in transactions consistent with possible human trafficking; an association with the adult entertainment industry; or potential association with prostitution.”
“Some recipients of those funds are Ukrainian or Russian citizens,” the report expands, “the records note that it is a documented fact that Hunter Biden has sent funds to non-resident alien women in the United States who are citizens of Russia and Ukraine and who have subsequently wired funds they have received from Hunter Biden to individuals located in Russia and Ukraine.”
“The records also note that some of these transactions are linked to what ‘appears to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring,” it adds.
The report also notes further ties to Chinese nationals and foreign governments, suggesting Hunter Biden and other members of the Biden family are part of a network that spans the planet.
The Biden family “were involved in a vast financial network that connected them to foreign nationals and foreign governments across the globe, the report adds. One specific example cited in the report states Hunter Biden “opened a bank account” with a Chinese national linked to the Communist Party, which then “financed a $100,000 spending spree” for Hunter Biden’s brother and his wife.
In a statement released to the media on Wednesday, Biden campaign spokesperson Andrew Bates blasted the Senate investigation and Johnson, saying that “Ron Johnson has wasted months diverting the Senate” committee “away from any oversight of” the “federal response to the pandemic.”
The Biden campaign further accuses Senate Republicans of promoting a “long-disproven, hardcore rightwing conspiracy theory,” and suggested the report subsidizes “a foreign attack against the sovereignty of our elections with taxpayer dollars.”
