Russian President Vladimir Putin’s claim that Joe Biden’s son Hunter helped to finance the creation of US-backed biolabs in Ukraine has been confirmed by emails stored on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop. The American intelligence community had previously dismissed the claims as Russian propaganda.
The emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop show that while he sat on the board of the controversial Ukrainian gas company Burisma, Hunter Biden helped secure millions of dollars in funding for “pathogen research” firm Metabiota, a Department of Defense contractor, to set up shop in Ukraine. The scheme included Hunter Biden and numerous colleagues who helped raise money for Metabiota, even involving Wall Street firm Goldman Sachs. As a DoD contractor operating biolabs nearby Ukraine’s border with Russia, Metabiota received millions more in funding from the US government as Hunter Biden’s father Joe served as Vice President.
According to reporting from The Daily Mail, the emails found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop entail direct communications with leadership at both Burisma and Metabiota, with Hunter Biden hooking Metabiota up with corrupt Burisma officials to run a “science project” at high-security bio labs in Ukraine. Additionally, Metabiota worked closely with US defense contractor Black & Veatch in Ukraine, which The Daily Mail reports helped build secure labs in that country to test “killer diseases and bioweapons.”
Hunter Biden is said to have played a “prominent role” in the project.
In one e-mail communication seeming to demonstrate that Metabiota’s research was far from normal, the pathogen research company’s Vice President told Hunter Biden that they would “leverage our team, networks, and concepts to assert Ukraine’s cultural and economic independence from Russia and continued integration into Western society.”
The Russian leadership has repeatedly accused the Biden family of direct ties to bioweapons labs in Ukraine, which they say were being secretly operated in collaboration with the Ukrainian government and Western NGOs, presenting a direct threat to Russia. Vladimir Putin has even used those accusations as part of his pretext for invading Ukraine, painting a picture of both covert and overt aggression on behalf of neo-liberal Western powers, with the Biden family playing a starring role, a viewpoint re-enforced by Russia’s State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
“US President Joe Biden himself is involved in the creation of biolaboratories in Ukraine,” Duma Speaker Volodin was quoted as saying by Russian state media.
Evidence of American biolabs in Ukraine has come forth since Russia’s invasion of the nation and has been widely reported on by Western media, horrifying the American public. In addition to labs discovered around the battlefields of Ukraine, the US government’s own records admit to funding biolabs, including vaccine research in the troubled country. Defense experts have warned that the labs could present a serious security crisis if they fall into Russian hands, and those on the Russian side, including Putin, have pointed to the labs to vindicate Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
