Democrat House Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced on Thursday that he would support the Biden-McCarthy Debt Ceiling Deal. This is as Marjorie Taylor Greene’s former chief of staff warns House Republicans of potential disastrous political consequences for voting yes on the deal. MTG has failed to join conservative firebrands Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, Dan Bishop, and 30 plus other GOP House members who have committed to vote no on the deal.
Jeffries made his support for the bill clear, saying, “I made clear that I’m going to support the legislation that is on the floor today…I support it without hesitation, reservation or trepidation, not because it’s perfect, but in divided government, we of course cannot allow the perfect to be the enemy of the good.”
Democrat House Leader Hakeem Jeffries announces he supports the McCarthy Biden Debt Ceiling Deal. This fact alone should make every GOP member of Congress vote no on this awful bill.

Patrick Parsons, MTG’s former Cheif of Staff, warned House Republicans that it would be politically unwise to turn against your constituents by supporting the deal tweeting, “As a former Chief of Staff on Capitol Hill, I can tell you with 100% certainty, red district Republicans supporting this debt ceiling scam are facing Bud Light level anger from their constituents I would never ask good people to do bad things.

Patriots like Matt Gaetz, Lauren Bobert, Dan Bishop, and 30 plus other GOP House Members have committed to vote no on the bill leading Speaker McCarthy to rely on Democrats to receive the needed votes to pass the deal.
Missing from the list of Patriot holdouts is MTG. MTG has been helping McCarthy get the votes to pass the deal, turning her back on her constituents’ wishes. MTG sounded like a 21-year-old sorority girl tweeting a 19-page long thread on Thursday as to why she can’t abandon Kevin McCarthy and his debt ceiling deal.

Many never expected MTG and Hakeem Jeffries to both vote yes on a spending bill. Nevertheless, 2023 looks to be the year when conservative voters learn which politicians stand with them and which stand with the global elites.
