Rep. Paul Gosar slammed Rep. Liz “Karen” Cheney on Twitter today after she accused Tucker Carlson of spreading “the same type of lies that provoked violence on January 6.”
In response to the trailer release of Patriot Purge, a new documentary by Tucker Carlson that aims highlight alarming reports of federal involvement in the events of January 6, Cheney took to Twitter and insisted that the 2020 election “wasn’t stolen,” feeling the need to specifically mention that she believes “January 6 was not a ‘false flag’ operation.”
Cheney accused Carlson of using Fox News “to spread the same type of lies that provoked violence on January 6.” In the video, Carlson described the federal government’s actions since January 6 as the next War on Terror. It is unclear if this personally offended Cheney, the daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney who played a leading role in the widely condemned series of wars launched by the Bush administration.
“As @FoxNews knows, the election wasn’t stolen and January 6 was not a ‘false flag’ operation,” Cheney complained on Twitter.
The tweet drew the attention of firebrand Rep. Paul Gosar, who made use of the popular “Karen” meme in his response. “Karen. The violence was instigated by FBI assets,” wrote Gosar. “Try to keep up. Ask @DarrenJBeattie for an update.”

Gosar, who objected to the certification of Arizona’s electoral college votes on January 6 due to evidence of voter fraud shortly before the Capitol was breached, then instructed Cheney to “take a look at the AZ audit,” which showed that voters with “no record” of their existence far outnumber Joe Biden’s supposed lead in the state.
“Election fraud is confirmed, bow tied, wrapped and delivered on a platter,” he wrote, adding that she should call AZ GOP Chair Kelli Ward, AZ Senate President Karen Fann, AZ Secretary of State candidate Mark Finchem, and AZ Senator Sonny Borrelli.
