News broke Tuesday afternoon that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will announce he is 2024 presidential bid in a Twitter Space hosted by Elon Musk on Wednesday evening at 6 PM EST. The decision by DeSantis to announce his campaign on Twitter has been criticized by some in the America First movement as a signal that the global elite want to use the Florida Governor to take down President Trump, considering the ties of Twitter’s new CEO to the World Economic Forum. DeSantis’ announcement comes as his polling numbers are at all-time lows.
Many are questioning why Ron DeSantis chose Twitter to make his presidential announcement. National File has reported on the Florida Governor’s all-time low polling numbers in GOP Primary polling and some have speculated that DeSantis chose Twitter for his announcement because he feared that he could not draw a large crowd in person. DeSantis only drew about 300 people at his recent event in Iowa.
Approximately 300 people are in attendance to see Ron DeSantis in Iowa. That sounds more like the number of people just in the front row of a Trump rally.
