The retired Lt. Gen. Russel Honore, selected by Democrat House speaker Nancy Pelosi to investigate the protesters who entered the U.S. Capitol on January 6, led a “Green ARMY” to Louisiana state capitol property where protesters held signs including “KICK BIG OIL.” In another instance, the Green ARMY vowed to launch an effort to “pack the house” for legislative hearings on environmental legislation.
Records of anti-Trump Honore’s Capitol protest were unearthed by intrepid citizen researcher Rich Weinstein and sent to NATIONAL FILE.
Here is Honore’s “Green ARMY” on the state Capitol steps in 2015, according to Weinstein.
NATIONAL FILE reported: Ex-CIA officers are comparing pro-President Trump protesters who entered the U.S. Capitol during a protest on January 6 to al Qaeda and declaring the need to use “counterinsurgency” tactics in editorials for mainstream newspapers. Meanwhile, Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants a “9/11-type Commission” to probe the impromptu Capitol selfie session.
“The enemy within” appears to be the buzzword used by one of the ex-CIA officers after Pelosi said “the enemy is within” Congress, referring to her conservative colleagues. Ilhan Omar has also referred to the “enemy within” the U.S. House. The ex-CIA officer uses it more broadly to refer to government enemies who happen to live in the United States of America.
Q to Pelosi: What did you mean "the enemy is within?"
Pelosi: "It means we have members of Congress who want to bring guns onto the (House) floor and that threatened violence on other members of Congress."

Former CIA Counterterrorism Center director Robert Grenier wrote in the New York Times: “As a former overseas operative who has struggled both on the side of insurgents and against them, the past few days have brought a jarring realization: We may be witnessing the dawn of a sustained wave of violent insurgency within our own country, perpetrated by our own countrymen. Three weeks ago, it would have been unthinkable that the United States might be a candidate for a comprehensive counterinsurgency program. But that is where we are…”
“The challenge facing us now is one of counterinsurgency. Though one may recoil at the thought, it provides the most useful template for action,” Grenier wrote.
“We must isolate and alienate the committed insurgents from the population. Just as Al Qaeda in Iraq depended on a much larger community of disaffected Sunnis for tacit support and recruitment, we face the prospect of there being a mass of citizens — sullen, angry and nursing their grudges — among whom the truly violent minority will be able to live undetectably, attracting new adherents to their cause. The fantasy that the presidency was stolen from Mr. Trump, which has gripped so much of the country, will not easily be broken. The nation is in an epistemological crisis,” Grenier wrote.
“As the Senate prepares to sit in judgment on Mr. Trump, we should be wary of the excuses put forward by his defenders — that his conviction will only divide the country further, that we should simply move on. No: It is far too late for appeasement. Those of us versed in counterinsurgency know that in violent extremism nothing succeeds like success, and that the opposite is also true,” Grenier wrote.
Actually, al Qaeda in Iraq was propped up by the United States. As I reported in 2016 in an article shared by President Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton receiving a secret memo stating the Obama administration’s support for al Qaeda in Iraq. But apparently the Deep State is not supporting the Capitol protesters in 2021, as they have made abundantly clear.
Meanwhile, the Washington Examiner ran an op-ed by Kevin Carroll, former CIA officer and counselor to a House committee and the Secretary of Homeland Security, in which Carroll compared the protesters to al Qaeda.
“I woke up in my Manhattan apartment as a Wall Street law firm associate on Sept. 12, 2001, worrying how America could stop the next attack. I woke up as a combat veteran in my suburban Washington, D.C., house on Jan. 7, 2021, equally worried. But I also remember what helped America last time. We defeated al Qaeda and can do the same to the fascist thugs who attacked our democracy last month. But only if we take similar hard measures against the enemy within,” Carroll wrote.
There’s that same term Pelosi used: “the enemy within.” Deep State talking points, anyone?
Of course, the United States Deep State did not actually defeat al Qaeda, or even really try to. As NATIONAL FILE reported:
Joe Biden’s National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan previously told his then-boss Hillary Clinton that al Qaeda “is on our side in Syria,” making it clear that the globalist Democrat regime is willing to ally with jihadist groups in order to affect regime change in places where nationalists like Bashar al-Assad reign.
Sullivan told Clinton in 2012 that “AQ is on our side in Syria.” Sullivan referred in his email to the following note: “AL-ZAWAHIRI URGES MUSLIM SUPPORT FOR OPPOSITION (U) Al-Qaida leader al-Zawahiri called on Muslims in Turkey and the Middle East to aid rebel forces in their fight against supporters of Syrian President Asad in an interne video recording. Al-Zawahiri also urged the Syrian people not to rely on the AL, Turkey, or the United States for assistance…)”
Ayman al-Zawahiri literally took over as the head of al Qaeda when Osama bin Laden was killed. Not surprisingly for those who have read Sullivan’s email, al-Zawahiri is still operating and causing destabilization in the world.
The email from Sullivan to Clinton was released by Wikileaks.
I reported in 2016 that Hillary Clinton received a memo stating U.S. support for al Qaeda in Iraq, which developed into ISIS, and my article was shared by future President Donald Trump. Clearly, people on the Independent Right and Left know that the neoliberal globalist regime is making matters worse in the Middle East by pitting highly radicalized terrorist groups against their nationalist opponents like Assad, who might end up getting toppled during the Biden presidency. What will replace Assad? The globalist Democrats do not seem to care.
