Ex-DeSantis PAC spokesman Steve Cortes, who formerly served as an adviser to 45th President Trump, has withdrawn his support of the Florida Governor’s presidential campaign and admitted in a Real Clear Politics op-ed that “only Trump can save America.”
“I was wrong,” former Trump adviser turned Never Back Down PAC spokesman Steve Cortes, who stepped down from the pro-DeSantis PAC back in October, wrote in the op-ed.
“Those of us who backed Ron DeSantis – or the other Republican candidates – should read the room,” he added, citing Trump’s massive win in Iowa and his big leads in the polls in every other state, before calling on his former anti-Trump comrades to stop attacking him with “Democrat Party-like talking points.”
They “only dilute the power of our cause as we head toward November,” Cortest wrote.
“How do we save America?” he went on to ask.
“It is time to unify behind former President Trump as he leads the battle against the ruling class and the oligarchs intent on destroying the American way of life,” he answered. “I implore all patriotic populists to join as I pledge to do all I can to work for Trump’s cause, just as I proudly did in 2016 and 2020.”
As mentioned, the Trump endorsement from Steve Cortes comes after Trump delivered a crushing defeat to not just Ron DeSantis, but the entire GOP field in the Iowa Caucuses.
It also comes as social media posts and public comments from high-profile DeSantis supporters and voters show that the Governor once touted as the great hope of the “post-Trump GOP” has zero chance of becoming the party’s presidential nominee, short of a rigged convention.
And Trump’s massive base of support all over the country isn’t just convincing wayward Republicans to come back into the fold, but showing high-ranking globalists that their mission to destroy the MAGA movement is a fool’s errand.
As National File reported, during an interview at, of all places, the World Economic Forum’s Davos summit, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, whose bank is notorious for canceling the accounts of conservatives, that Trump and MAGA patriots were right all along about immigration, China, and more.
