The Biden Department of Veterans Affairs has banned the famous V-J Day kiss photo from all VA facilities, claiming that the photo must be erased to “promote a culture of inclusivity.” Considered by most to be an iconic piece of American history, the photo has become a routine target of the sex-obsessed left, which decided nearly 80 years after it was taken that the kiss was actually a form of sexual assault. Remarkably, the entire Biden Administration, including the VA and the DoD, have embraced pedophilia and LGBTism, but they say that a photograph of a victorious American is a bridge too far.
The famous V-J Day kiss photo was taken in New York City’s Times Square on August 14th, 1945, the day that the Japanese Empire, a military power that was once believed to be unbeatable, unconditionally surrendered to the United States. V-J Day marked the official end of World War 2 for the American People, as the war in Europe had ended months prior.
A memo from the Department of Veterans Affairs dated February 29th, 2024 calls for the “removal and replacement of ‘V-J Day in Times Square’ photographs” from ALL VA facilities. The memo goes on to say that the photo is out of alignment with “the Department of Veterans Affairs’ commitment to maintain a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment,” before accusing the American Sailor in the photograph of sexual assault.
“Perspectives on historical events and their representations evolve,” the memo goes on.
“Recent discussions have highlighted concerns about the non-consensual nature of the kiss, prompting debates on consent, and the appropriateness of celebrating such images in today’s environment, especially within institutions, such as VHA facilities, which are committed to upholding standards of creating a safe and respectful environment.”
