During the politicized January 6 Select Committee hearing, Congressman Adam Kinzinger exhibited strange behavior while he was discussing the events of January 6 at the Capitol building. In a video clip Kinzinger was seen laughing as he spoke, only to rapidly begin crying just moments later.
The January 6 Select Committee hearings have gone off to a bizarre start. The the “bipartisan” committee saw witness testimony from four Capitol police officers who discussed what they apparently saw and dealt with during the events of January 6. One moment during the hearing that left viewers scratching their heads was when Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger exhibited a confusing display of emotions while discussing the events at the Capitol building.
In a video clip, Kinzinger can be seen laughing as he discusses January 6. Within seconds, the RINO congressman’s voice turns shaky and he quickly starts crying.

Kinzinger laughed as he thanked his colleagues. “Thank you Mr. Chairman and thank you to my colleagues on the committee. Thank you to our witnesses,” chuckled Kinzinger, who cleared his voice to add “I never expected today to be quite as emotional for me as it has been.”
“I think it’s important to tell you right now though, you guys may like, individually feel a little broken, you guys all talk about the effects you have to deal with and you know, you talk about the impact of that day,” Kinzinger said as his voice began to shake. “But you guys won…You guys held…You know democracies are not defined by our bad days,” Kinzinger cried. “We’re defined by how we come back from bad days, how we take accountability for that.”
“And for all the overheated rhetoric surrounding this committee, our mission is very simple. It’s to find the truth and it’s to ensure accountability,” Kinzinger said as he quickly pulled himself together.
The strange behavior has led to widespread criticism of Kinzinger on Twitter, with users doubting that the Congressman was being sincere or genuine. “Worse acting than a B list movie,” tweeted one user.
