Never Back Down Pac has spent millions promoting Ron DeSantis and attacking Donald Trump in the GOP primary. Emmer is a proud Never Trumper. NationalFile has reported Kevin McCarthy is backing Emmer’s Speakership. NationalFile recently reported on Loomer’s video showing Emmer siding with Liz Cheney on the 2020 election outcome. Trump has reportedly told allies that he would never back Emmer’s Speakership.
Loomer shared a screenshot of Ms. Atchison’s X Page reading, “National Spokeswoman @RonDeSantis Former: @GovStitt, @NRCC, @tomemmer Virginia is home. @AmericanU

Loomer captioned the screenshot, writing, “Well, now McCarthy and the GOP establishment are trying to make
@GOPMajorityWhipbTom Emmer speaker of the House so they can screw over Trump and help DeSantis get the GOP nomination.”
Loomer continued, “Did you know that @CarlyAtch, the spokeswoman for @RonDeSantis’s PAC b@NvrBackDown24bcame from Tom Emmer’s office? It’s very obvious that Emmer is the RINO & Trump haters’ pick for Speaker so they can attack Trump.”

McCarthy has endorsed Tom Emmer for Speaker. McCarthy has yet to endorse anyone in the 2024 presidential election. McCarthy donors recently attempted to change the California GOP primary rules to award the second-place finisher with a high amount of delegates in an effort to help Ron DeSantis.
A Republican U.S. House Speaker, if they chose, has the power to play a critical role in the GOP presidential primary. Evidence seems to suggest DeSantis’ allies are attempting to help Emmer gain the Speakership in hopes of Speaker Emmer supporting DeSantis in the GOP primary.
Speaker Emmer could instantly help the DeSantis campaign by ensuring the Biden DOJ witch hunts against Trump and his supporters remain funded. Congress must approve DOJ funding in the next CR that must be passed by November 17th.
