Golden State Warriors Draymond Green, who has played a critical part in all 4 Warriors’ NBA Titles, kicked an opposing player in the chest using his total weight during the Warriors’ Game 2 loss on Monday night. Stephen Curry and Steve Kerr, both outspoken Trump critics, headline the Warriors. Curry and Kerr did not have an issue with Green’s kick. Draymond Green has a history of becoming unhinged, notably kicking Lebron James in the groin during the 2016 NBA Finals.
Video of the incident shows Green putting his leg on the opposing player, who was lying on his back and then kicking the player in his chest area with the full force of his body weight. The crowd reacted in horror as Green’s assault was replayed on the big screen. Green was then immediately ejected from the game.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, who has been a constant critic of Donald Trump, failed to criticize Green for his actions. Following the game, when asked about the Green incident, Kerr told the media, “I didn’t see the play live, and then I didn’t see the replay, I asked Zach Zarba what happened, and he told me. I was busy with getting the team ready. One of the coaches told me that he might get ejected, and so, I was trying to prepare for what was next.”
Warriors star Stephen Curry, who is also a constant critic of Donald Trump and spoke at the 2020 DNC Convention, also did not publicly criticize Green.
Many people point out that Steve Kerr and Stephen Curry tell others how to vote and live their lives, yet they can’t criticize their teammates for their out-of-control behavior.
The Warriors are scheduled to play their next game on Sunday.
