Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse is calling for Nancy Pelosi’s House select committee to investigate Reps. Paul Gosar, Andy Biggs, and Mo Brooks for so-called “dark-money coordination” behind the mostly peaceful protests that occurred on January 6, with Whitehouse referring to the protests as an “insurrection.”
According to a press release, Whitehouse is calling for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s openly partisan committee to “examine dark-money organizations and powerful donors who” he claims “organized and funded” the January 6 rallies that culminated in mostly peaceful protests. Whitehouse claims that “revelations in recent days” suggest that “big-money donors and a web of anonymously-funded organizations spread disinformation” about the 2020 election in an attempt to “subvert the outcome” of what many still consider to be a fraudulent election.
In the letter, Whitehouse claimed that the January 6 protests were “the culmination of a months-long disinformation campaign designed to allow Preisdent Trump to remain in office.” Whitehouse again referred to “dark-money organizations and powerful donors” and asked “that the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol… examine the funders and organizers whose efforts may have laid the groundwork for violence on that day.”
Whitehouse adds, without evidence, that “Three members of the House of Representatives have been identified as alleged co-architects” of the January 6 protests, and names “Reps. Andy Biggs, Paul Gosar, and Mo Brooks.” (READ MORE: Black Democrat Operative Blows The Lid off Democrat Voter Fraud in Texas [VIDEO])
Meanwhile, Whitehouse and the partisan select committee has remained completely silent on the Center for Tech and Civic Life, an organization funded largely by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg that paid cities and counties millions of dollars to incentivize them to modify their voting laws and install ballot “drop boxes” in public places. Additionally, these Democrats have remained silent about what was publicly admitted to be “shadow campaign” written about in Time Magazine, which they claim “saved the 2020 election” by “fortifying” it.
The three Republican representatives fingered by Whitehouse have all remained active in pursuing election integrity following the 2020 election. Gosar is also championing the causes of the January 6 detainees, who some have called political prisoners, and the Babbitt family. Recently, Gosar asked the mother of Ashli Babbitt – the woman slain by Capitol Hill police on January 6 – to appear at his speech at a TPUSA event in Arizona.
