President Trump released a video on Friday attacking Ron DeSantis for his lack of personality. This, as new GOP Primary Polling shows Trump with a massive lead over DeSantis in Florida and Texas.
In a video only Donald Trump has the personality to make, Trump said, “Ron DeSanctimonious needs a personality transplant and those are not yet available. Almost all congressmen and women who served with him and knew him well supported me, some of them surprisingly so because of their relationship with Ron.”
“I would say that when it comes to lack of personality, Ron would be in a class with Asa Hutchinson and that’s not good,” the 45th President went on. “Ron’s foreign trip was a total bomb they didn’t even know what he was doing there. It was a mess, Thank you.”

Trump also posted about DeSantis on TruthSocial on Friday offering a reminder of how he is responsible for DeSantis being the Governor of Florida in the first place.
“In December 2017, Ron Desanctimonious was polling at 5% in the Republican primary for Governor of Florida,” wrote Trump. “DeSantis had virtually no endorsements and was being drastically out-raised by Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam, the widely-viewed favorite.”
“Ron had zero chance of winning,” Trump added. “On December 21, 2017, President Donald J. Trump Endorsed in support of DeSanctus. His polling skyrocketed, and DeSantis won the Republican primary, 57% – 37%, all because of President Trump.”
Trump’s remarks came as GOP Primary Texas polling released on Wednesday shows him leading Ron DeSantis by a massive margin of 38 points.
Florida polling released on Thursday shows Trump leading DeSantis by 8 points, in DeSantis’ own backyard.
Nationally, Trump’s lead over DeSantis falls between the 30-40 point range. Political insiders believe that Turmp’s lead over DeSantis will grow even larger following Trump’s strong performance during his Wednesday CNN Town Hall.
Despite his low poll numbers and exposed lack of personality, political insiders still believe Ron DeSantis will formally announce a run for president this month.
