DC’s Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center was attacked by pro-abortion radicals who doused the building’s front door with red paint and scrawled “Jane Says Revenge” across the building’s exterior walls – appearing to credit the violent pro-abortion group “Jane’s Revenge” with the attack.
The Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center is a faith-based non-profit in Washington, DC offering resources and support to those going through a crisis pregnancy. In addition to free pregnancy testing, the group offers counseling, mentoring, and parenting classes including a “fatherhood initiative” program. According to the center’s mission statement, The Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center serves Christ by “providing intervention and abortion alternatives for women and men facing crisis pregnancies.”
Last Friday, the Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center became just the latest center of its kind to face an attack from pro-abortion radicals, who have kicked their campaigns into overdrive in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Roe leak. The building’s front door was covered with red paint and the phrase “Jane Says Revenge” was scrawled across the building’s exterior walls in black painted writing, appearing to credit the far-left, violent pro-abortion group “Jane’s Revenge” with the attack.
“Yesterday, the hatred of those who do not like or appreciate the work we do at the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center manifested itself by vandalizing our building,” a Saturday statement from the center’s Executive Director reads. “What a shock it was to stand in front of the center and feel the hatred this act represents,” the statement went on, also describing an outpouring of support from the police officers who responded to the crime scene as well as from the community members appreciative of the center’s mission.
“All through the day, we experienced an outpouring of concern, caring, and ‘wanting to help’ from strangers and from people who know the center well,” the Executive Director’s statement went on in saying. “It was then that I was reminded that God’s people are standing with us with loving and prayerful hearts and we do not need to be afraid.”
The attack on the Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center isn’t the first attack on a faith-based organization to be credited to Jane’s Revenge, one of the left’s more openly violent pro-abortion groups. As previously reported by National File, Jane’s Revenge has claimed responsibility for the firebombing of the Wisconsin Family Action offices, as well as other attacks made in the aftermath of the Roe leak. The group has threatened further violence and has vowed to unleash a nationwide campaign of pro-abortion violence if Roe is ultimately overturned by the Supreme Court.
