President Donald released a photo on Twitter Monday of the valiant military service dog that was injured while chasing down deceased ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.
The photo shows a beautiful Belgian Malinois wearing a low-profile camouflage vest.

The dog was deployed with a team of U.S. special forces operators to al-Baghdadi’s compound on the Turkish-Syrian border for a covert operation on Sunday.
The canine reportedly suffered minor injuries during the raid, but has made a speedy recovery and has been cleared for further duty according to USA Today:
WASHINGTON – The military dog credited in the raid that killed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has returned to duty after treatment – and presumably treats – after suffering minor wounds in the operation.
Army Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, refused to release the dog’s name for security reasons.
“The dog is still in theater,” Milley explained to reporters Monday at a Pentagon briefing.
The military’s top officer credited the hound’s “tremendous service” and said it (gender wasn’t released, either) was slightly wounded in the operation to take down the leader of ISIS, the terrorist organization.
President Trump said that al-Baghdadi died “like a coward” in a statement on Sunday, reporting that the Islamist cleric was “whimpering, screaming, and crying all the way” as the dog and special forces operators chased him down.
“Our canine, I call it a dog, a beautiful dog – a talented dog – was injured and brought back,” President Trump added.
