Biden administration Press Secretary Jen Psaki defended embattled NIAID Director Anthony Fauci despite the 3,200 pages of his emails that some say could represent criminal activity or perjury, calling him an “undeniable asset” to the Biden regime.
When asked about the damaging release of Fauci’s emails, Psaki defended the embattled doctor, saying, “Well, I think we’ve spoken to this pretty extensively from here. Let me just say on Dr. Fauci and his emails – he’s also spoken to this many many times over the last, over the course of the last few days and we’ll let him speak for himself,” and added, “he’s been an undeniable asset in our country’s pandemic response,’ she said. ‘But it’s obviously not that contagious for me to re litigate the substance of emails from 17 months ago.” (READ MORE: Fauci’s Book Gets Pulled From Amazon, Barnes And Noble After Damning Email Revelations)
After she was pressed again, the Daily Mail reported that Psaki gushed, “The president and the administration feel that Dr. Fauci has played an incredible role in getting the pandemic under control.” Despite numerous emails suggesting Fauci’s “gain of function” research in Wuhan, China was instrumental to the origin of COVID-19, Psaki called the idea that it came from a Chinese laboratory “far fetched” and insisted, “We’ve launched, based on the President’s direction, an entire internal review process to use all the resources across government to get to the bottom of the origins, and that’s 100-day process and we’ll look forward to providing – or 90 days when it’s concluded.”
Last night, Tucker Carlson connected the dots of Fauci’s emails and declared that he believes the man once hailed as “America’s Doctor” should be under criminal investigation for funding of the Wuhan lab and for his apparent perjury in Congress. Carlson also noted that much of the emails were redacted in such a fashion that indicates the contents of emails between Fauci and the doctor who headed the research program at the Wuhan Institute of Virology could be used in an upcoming or ongoing criminal investigation. “We can only hope they are” under investigation, said Carlson, “They certainly deserve it.”
Among the most startling emails uncovered by National File is a hand made March Madness chart, created by the top COVID-19 expert at the CDC and then sent to Fauci’s email, showing “Coronavirus” as the “champion” of the bracket contest that saw other potential viruses and illnesses lose.
